BFD Farms is small breeding facility in the "rolling hills" of Clermont, FL. We are located on family owned property that is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the growing town of Clermont. This laid back attitude around our farm is one reason our deer have the least amount of stress possible.
We started our journey with breeding whitetail deer in late 2012 on an idea that we could enjoy these wonderful animals, and possibly make some money while doing so. The race was on to get as much knowledge from research, calling different breeders, and visiting as many local farms in Florida that we could before we made a decision to buy bred does for the upcoming fawning season. We settled on purchasing four bred does from two different farms in Florida that had the genetics we liked to start with. From that point on, we have learned something every day to help us manage and grow healthy whitetail deer from our herd or through helping with other breeders.
Our herd and facilities continue to grow as we improve our genetics. We strive to produce deer that will have the industry buzzing, and the only way to do that is by mixing and pairing the best genetics possible to get the best results. We use some of the top producing sires in the country, and match them with the top producing bloodlines in our does in order to grow massive deer.

The farm is owned and operated by Patrick Conrad and Dustin Goodson, two best friends that have grown up together, and continue to share a passion for the outdoors and the animals that we have been privileged to encounter. As a functioning business, we would not be able to operate without the help of friends and family that go out of their way to assist whenever help is needed. On the other hand, we are always willing to help neighboring breeders whenever we can.
